Laser Beam Focus

I am attempting to maintain laser beam focus on achieving goals that can only be done through identifying and facing the fears that lead to diverging thoughts and procrastinating behaviours. I have some mantras such as:

  • Couchlock: This phrase helps to identify when I am locked into a couch staring into the face of a computer screen and especially useful when I have to use that information to get out of my trance and get to work.
  • It's taking too long, start again: When the procrastination process of diverging thoughts has led to so many new branches away form the initial intended action that I need to remind myself to start again. Quite useful
  • Laser Beam Focus: A term to remind myself to be focused on my goals
  • 100% : A phrase I think to myself when I ask myself, "How could I get a 100% on this assignment?" And then I do better at the task. Generally a good anti-laziness phrase.

New Direction :

This blog is changing direction. I have deleted several posts from here which were written under a different time and space and sense of self which I don't relate to any more.

The blog was an experiment and I hope that the writings that have remained can be appreciated for their value as a learning tool.

I am going to take this blog in a new direction or it will just stay static as it is now.

Thanks for reading.

I am bored

"I am bored"

You are bored? Then breathe. Breathe and look around. Be alive in the moment. Your boredom is the fabric of your mind being shaken by the waves of subconscious images that fly through your eyes at light speed without you even knowing that; causing boredom in waves upon waves. You might imagine that being on a boat and each wave making you want to look to a different direction which is your boredom physically moving you left right and center. It is rare to see this happen in slow motion, but you can notice it if you pay attention.

However your breathing calms the waves and so then automatically breathing with an intention to be at peace and calm brings you to experience the reality in front of you instantaneously. So breathe. Then you won't be bored, because the waves will be weak, and you will float to your destination no matter how strong your outside waves are, because your inside waves are calm/

When you experience your reality, either through inebriation (temporary and forgotten) or by being truly alive and reclaiming the most powerful force in your universe (breath, and that of your mind,) by breathing you can use your mind to do something useful: Which is to assess your immediate surrounding and be alive in that moment of assessment. Even while your subconscious repeatedly assails you with images that drive your actions and cause you to believe you have an active role in the voluntary actions that when looked at deeply can be seen to be a product of an involuntary image. That is, the involuntary voluntary life-style you're living is actually your own choice, but not under your conscious control. Unconscious choices and boredom. Breathe actively, and combat these illnesses.

Reclaim breath, and reclaim life. Your mind is your tool. Consciousness is the creator.

{ps: this is consciousness talking to me. I am sharing this with people who might be slightly interested in it, not intended as a commentary on your life. I am talking about my own.}

Thinking is the most time consuming activity I don't do every day.
Thinking is the most time consuming activity I do every day.

Words make pictures and pictures make words. Thoughts are words, that come from pictures. Emotions are feelings, that come from pictures. Noises make pictures, pictures can make noises. I am a picture, magnified into thought, projected into form.

Intention is the currency of my current life. Intention is your currency too. Find that and find the lever to hold your weight on the fulcrum of the images you use and invent.

Good Luck

Through the micro and the macro, there is consciousness.

The really incredible power of the mind is that it is the most amazing gadget we have at our disposal. Way more incredible than an Ipad 2. The mind is a powerful tool and has such a high processing power that sometimes it doesn't realize that it can't be its own Operator. I am the operator of my mind. What am I though? I simply am. I am a result of the karma of all the past events that lead to my birth, starting from the birth of the universe. That is quite a statement. I am. I have been misled by my mind into thinking that my consciousness is a thing to be reached, grasped, had, told, ordered, or induced through yoga, meditation, desire, or imagined by the mind itself.

My consciousness is beyond the comprehension of my mind. I am not my mind. I am consciousness. I realize that I am consciousness with the humility of the knowledge that consciousness is also the creator inside this universe, and possibly also the creator of the universe. I am also emboldened with the idea that I was intended to exist. I may not have a purpose until I realize my consciousness. I am realizing my consciousness everyday and the truth of this realization is so basic but so incredibly difficult for the mind to grasp. The moment you enlighten your internal cavernous mind, it can realize that Consciousness, not the mind, is the creator. With my realization I feel a great sense of certainty, and a feeling that whatever I imagine, I can overcome my mind's quivering mass of doubtful images and limitations. I can do this with the power of my intention, which is derived from my Consciousness. There is no rational argument or mental image that is too strong to be overcome now. I am the arrow, and my intention is the energy through which I can fly to my goal, the target. The mind wavers and sees no possibility for my arrow to fly, for it sees no reality of a bow, let alone the archer. However, with the consciousness as the intention, I the arrow, can use my mind to summon an archer, construct a bow, and become transported through space and time until I reach my target.

I am consciousness, which is the creator, and my consciousness, is the creator. Through my intention I can use my mind to imagine and realize a new reality. With this realization I am not limited by what my mind perceives as its physical limits. Ultimately, the realization to attain peace is to be able to understand that I am the creator. Inside of time, this means, my consciousness came from the creator, and will return to the creator, and is the creator. Outside of time, this means that eventually, I will become unified with the creator. That the end of the universe, Trillions to the power of trillions of years from now, when nothing will exist anymore, is a long time, and in that time, I will not exist, but my consciousness, which is real, will be unified eternally, beyond the end of time.
